I started coaching Jr Pro football in Springfield in 1987-1991 started in Greenbrier 1992-2006 took a break from coaching till I started missing coaches youth football, and came back in 2012 coaching 7-8 football, and assistant commissioner. I became Commisioner in 2014. I gave up coaching in 2018, because in 2016 I took a job as the parks and recreation director, it was too demanding to coach with all the other responsibilities. I actually started in youth sports in 1984 it’s something I have always enjoyed. Through the years I have coach kids in Softball, baseball, football, and basketball. A big part of my life has been dedicated to youth sports, and out of all that one of my favorite things is when a young adult comes up to me, and says “hey you were my coach as a kid”
